FC Porto - UEFA Europa League Champion 2011 - Final Report from Dublin - Falcao & Guarín

FC Porto - UEFA Europa League Champion 2011

La UEFA nombró al ariete colombiano como ¨Man of the Match¨.

Match Report

FC Porto conquered the Europa League 2011 title after having defeated Sporting Braga 1-0 at the Dublin Arena.  Although the match did not offer many scoring opportunities, André Villas Boas' team took home the well-deserved title.  Sporting Braga never got into the match and it was only near the end of the second half that they created a couple of clear scoring opportunities.  Falaco's first half goal, assisted by Freddy Guarín proved to be enough for FC Porto to lift the Champions cup.  The UEFA named Falcao as the ¨Man of the Match¨
